The Altelix NF141208P NEMA 4X Weatherproof Enclosure is ideal for protecting equipment from harsh environments and tampering. This rugged NEMA box is molded from durable and UV resistant fiberglass reinforced polyester (FRP) with a UL94-5V flame rating. It features a stainless steel continuous door hinge and stainless steel latches with provision for padlocks. The door is fully gasketed making this enclosure suitable for use indoors or outdoors.
This enclosure is 8 inches deep and features an extended lid for a increased equipment clearance. A reduced profile flat lid version is also available with 2 inches less depth, for applications where additional equipment clearance is not required. (see Model NF141206P).
Aluminum Equipment Plate
This configuration consists of the fiberglass NEMA enclosure with hinged lid and a 2.5mm thick finished aluminum plate for mounting and securing equipment. The enclosure and plate can be drilled and modified by the installer to suit unique site requirements.
Mounting
Four removable stainless steel mounting feet are included so that the enclosure can be securely mounted to a wall or other structure. An optional pole mounting kit (model NMK-003) is also available.
