The MikroTik LHG-5axD is a high-performance 5 GHz WiFi 6 outdoor CPE and point-to-point wireless device designed for long-range links, WISP deployments, remote buildings, surveillance backhaul, and broadband connectivity.
Its integrated 24.5 dBi directional grid antenna focuses wireless energy toward the remote endpoint, helping improve signal quality and reduce interference in long-distance outdoor links. The aerodynamic grid design also reduces wind load compared with solid dish antennas.
The LHG-5axD uses modern 802.11ax WiFi 6 technology with a maximum 5 GHz wireless data rate of up to 1200 Mbps. It supports WPA3 security, 2x2 wireless chains, and a Gigabit Ethernet port, making it a major upgrade over older 802.11n and WiFi 5 LHG models.
Powered by a dual-core ARM 64-bit processor with 256 MB RAM and RouterOS v7, the device supports advanced routing, bridging, firewall, VLAN, bandwidth management, monitoring, and wireless configuration. Passive PoE allows both power and network connectivity to travel through a single Ethernet cable for simpler outdoor installation.
