The Ubiquiti PBE-5AC-Gen2-US PowerBeam 5AC Gen2 is a high-performance 5 GHz airMAX AC point-to-point bridge designed for long-range outdoor wireless links, WISP deployments, building-to-building connectivity, remote network extensions, and high-throughput CPE applications. With an integrated dish reflector, 25 dBi antenna gain, and airMAX AC technology, the PowerBeam 5AC Gen2 focuses RF energy in a narrow beam to improve signal performance and reduce noise from surrounding interference.
Built for professional outdoor wireless networks, the PBE-5AC-Gen2-US supports 450+ Mbps throughput and includes a dedicated WiFi management radio, allowing installers to configure and align the device from a mobile device without disrupting the main 5 GHz radio link. Its integrated mechanical design combines the radio and antenna into a compact, efficient bridge for reliable point-to-point and customer premises installations.
The PowerBeam 5AC Gen2 includes a Gigabit Ethernet port, passive 24V PoE power, outdoor-rated hardware, and support for airMAX AC features such as PtP and PtMP channel widths, bridging, routing, monitoring, and traffic shaping. In normal human language: it is for serious outdoor wireless links, not for improving the WiFi in your kitchen unless your kitchen is, for some reason, across a field.
