Comtrend WAP-EN1200C AC1200 Dual-Band Ceiling-Mount Access Point
The Comtrend WAP-EN1200C adds indoor wireless coverage to an existing wired network. Simultaneous 2.4 GHz and 5 GHz radios support a mix of wireless clients, while a Gigabit Ethernet connection provides the wired uplink.
Designed for ceiling installation, this access point suits offices, retail spaces and other indoor locations requiring centrally positioned Wi-Fi. IEEE 802.3af PoE allows installation where a nearby power outlet is unavailable.

Wireless Performance

Connectivity and Power
The single Ethernet port carries network traffic and accepts IEEE 802.3af PoE. Compatible IEEE 802.3at power sources may also be used. Alternatively, the access point accepts 12 V DC, 1 A through its DC power input.
Network Management
Configure guest access and separate user groups using multiple SSIDs and VLANs. Web management, SNMP and command-line access provide administration options. Comtrend also documents an AP-controller configuration in which one access point manages up to five others.
