MikroTik TG-LR82 - LoRaWAN Sensor Tag
The MikroTik TG-LR82 is a configurable LoRaWAN sensor tag for gathering temperature, humidity, motion, tilt, and event data in demanding IoT deployments. It combines multiple sensors, intelligent event rules, and flexible reporting profiles in a compact IP67-rated enclosure.
This 863-870Mhz version supports 868MHz LoRa and 2.4GHz LoRa, with LoRaWAN 1.0.4 Class A and B support. The TG-LR82 is designed to work with MikroTik LR8 gateways and monitoring platforms such as Grafana for telemetry visualization and historical analysis.
Sensor Telemetry and Event Rules
The TG-LR82 can generate temperature and humidity averages or histograms before transmitting telemetry, helping reduce network traffic while preserving environmental insights. Multiple configuration profiles and event-based rules allow the device to adapt when conditions change, such as a door opening, a temperature threshold being crossed, or movement being detected.
LoRaWAN Deployment
Flexible configuration is supported through LoRaWAN downlinks, with payloads generated using a dedicated configuration tool or integrated through platforms such as The Things Network. 2.4GHz LoRa support enables deployments without regional frequency switching, with typical range around 1.5 km depending on gateway antenna and environment.
