RF elements RTIKNFMMCX StationBox S Outdoor RouterBOARD Enclosure
The RF elements RTIKNFMMCX StationBox S is an outdoor enclosure for compatible MikroTik RouterBOARD installations. This version includes two preinstalled N-female-to-MMCX pigtails, connecting suitable internal radio interfaces to external antenna cabling.
The housing uses UV-stabilized, weather-resistant ABS plastic. It provides a compact enclosure for installers assembling or maintaining a RouterBOARD-based wireless system with separately selected electronics, antennas and power equipment.
Key Features
- StationBox S housing made from UV-stabilized, weather-resistant ABS plastic.
- Two preinstalled N-female-to-MMCX antenna pigtails.
- Two external N-female RF interfaces.
- Internal MMCX connections for compatible radio hardware.
- Snap-on mounting arrangement for compatible antenna brackets or holders.
- Passive enclosure that requires no power of its own.
RF Connectivity
The supplied pigtails provide two RF paths between the internal radio and external antenna connections. Select this version when the supported radio uses MMCX interfaces. MMCX and U.FL connectors are different and cannot be connected directly to one another.
External cabling must provide mating N-male interfaces. The antenna, cables and radio must also meet the frequency and RF requirements of the complete installation.
Outdoor Construction and Mounting
The ABS housing is designed for outdoor use with UV stabilization and weather-resistant construction. It mounts to a compatible antenna bracket or holder, allowing the enclosure to be positioned near the antenna.
Confirm the mounting arrangement and required accessories before installation. No verified IP ingress-protection rating is available for this exact variant.
RouterBOARD Integration
The legacy StationBox S enclosure documentation lists RB912, RB911, RB711 and RB411 platforms. Compatibility depends on the exact board layout, component clearance and radio connector type. The datasheet specifically excludes the longer 'U' board version.
This product supplies the enclosure and preinstalled RF pigtails. RouterBOARD electronics, antenna, power supply and PoE equipment are separate components.
Ideal Applications
- Custom wireless installations using supported RouterBOARD hardware.
- Replacement housings for compatible legacy StationBox S systems.
- WISP radio assemblies requiring internal MMCX and external N-female connections.
- Point-to-point or sector-radio projects using separately selected compatible equipment.
Compatible Products
Compatibility requires both a supported RouterBOARD form factor and radio interfaces that mate with the supplied MMCX pigtails. Matching the RF connector alone does not establish enclosure fit.
- MikroTik RB911G-5HPnD 5 GHz RouterBOARD — International Version – RB911 platform with a 105 x 105 mm PCB and MMCX radio interfaces, matching the documented enclosure platform and supplied pigtail type..
Important: The enclosure does not supply or convert power; use the voltage and PoE type specified for the installed board. Select the antenna and cabling for the radio's operating band and installation requirements.
