Ubiquiti EAV-XG-24-PoE - Enterprise Audio/Video XG 24 PoE
The Ubiquiti EAV-XG-24-PoE is an Enterprise Audio/Video switch built for high-bandwidth AV-over-IP deployments. It includes 24 10G PoE+++ RJ45 ports and 4 100G QSFP28 uplinks, giving professional AV networks a high-capacity switching platform with integrated power delivery.
The switch supports PTP timing, SMPTE ST 2110, SDVoE, and AES67 audio, with a high-precision OCXO clock and optional GPS grandmaster input through SMA for deterministic media synchronization. Ubiquiti also notes that EAV-XG-24-PoE was previously named EAV-24-PoE as a naming update only, with no hardware changes.
AV Synchronization and Pro AV Support
For professional AV workflows, the EAV-XG-24-PoE supports PTPv2, advanced IGMP configuration, IGMP snooping, and Pro AV profiles for Play, Dante, Q-SYS, NDI, SDVoE, Shure, AES67, and Crestron. Etherlighting support is included for Ethernet and QSFP28 ports.
Deployment Note
Ubiquiti recommends a 4-post rack, center-mount bracket, or cantilever shelf on 2-post racks for optimal support.
