D-Link DGS-1008MP 8-Port Gigabit Unmanaged PoE+ Switch
The D-Link DGS-1008MP connects and powers Ethernet devices through eight Gigabit ports. Designed for small offices and business installations, it combines network connectivity with standards-based PoE for compatible access points, IP cameras and VoIP phones.
Plug-and-play operation simplifies installation, while the fanless metal enclosure suits offices and equipment racks where quiet operation matters.

Gigabit Connectivity
Automatic speed negotiation supports existing Fast Ethernet equipment and Gigabit devices. Store-and-forward switching and IEEE 802.3x flow control support reliable packet handling. All eight ports can carry ordinary Ethernet traffic; a router or upstream switch connection uses one of these ports.
Power over Ethernet
Compatible powered devices receive data and power over Ethernet cabling, reducing the need for separate power adapters at each installation point. Plan the combined PoE load within the 125 W budget and the individual port limit.
Important: The switch cannot supply 30 W on all eight ports simultaneously. It is not a direct power source for devices requiring proprietary passive PoE or IEEE 802.3bt power levels.
Installation and Management
No switch configuration is required. The DGS-1008MP is unmanaged and does not provide configurable VLAN segmentation or routing. Its enclosure supports desktop or rack installation; verify mounting accessories for the supplied revision.

Compatible Products
Use Ethernet powered devices supporting IEEE 802.3af or IEEE 802.3at, within the switch's per-port power limit and shared budget. The following products meet the published Ethernet and PoE requirements:
- Grandstream GWN7660 Wi-Fi 6 Access Point – Supports IEEE 802.3af/at, has Gigabit Ethernet interfaces and a manufacturer-rated maximum power consumption of 9 W. Connect through its PoE input.
- Grandstream GXP2135 IP Phone – Supports IEEE 802.3af and Gigabit Ethernet, with maximum PoE consumption of 6.49 W.
Important: Compatibility is based on published power and Ethernet standards. It does not imply shared management software or vendor-specific integration. Budget for the power allocated at the switch, including cable losses, rather than relying only on endpoint consumption. Passive 24 V PoE equipment and devices requiring more than the supported PoE+ output need a suitable alternative power source.
