Aside from being able to create a home network, this product may also be used to extend a network to almost any room in your room and garage, at distances up to 984' away. Simply plug in a Powerline Nano Ethernet adapter into an available power outlet near your router or modem and connect it via an Ethernet cable (CAT5/CAT5e/CAT6). Then, place the second Powerline Nano Ethernet adapter into a power outlet near your broadband device and connect it via another Ethernet cable. The Powerline Nano Ethernet Bridge Kit is compatible with the HomePlug A/V specifications and is also backwards compatible with HomePlug 1.0 devices. Please bear in mind that use of this product requires an existing Internet connection with a cable or DSL connection and a router. Included with this kit are 2 x Nano Ethernet adapters and 2 x 5' Ethernet cables. It is also Plug and Play compatible, operates using 100~240 V @ 50/60 Hz, and is protected by a limited 1-year warranty.
