Manhattan 525664 N150 2.4 GHz Wireless Range Extender
The Manhattan 525664 extends an existing 2.4 GHz wireless network to help improve connectivity in areas with weak coverage. Its compact wall-plug design makes it suitable for adding coverage around a home without installing a separate external power adapter.
Supporting IEEE 802.11b/g/n and wireless link rates up to 150 Mbps, the extender works with compatible wireless networks and client devices. It can also operate as a standard wireless access point using an Ethernet connection.

Extend Existing Wireless Coverage
In repeater mode, the 525664 connects to an existing wireless network and rebroadcasts it. Place the extender where it can still receive a strong signal from the main router; installing it inside an area with little or no reception will limit the results.
Access Point Mode and Ethernet
Access Point mode adds wireless connectivity to an existing wired network. The RJ45 connection supports 10/100 Mbps Ethernet. The unit has one Ethernet port, not a multiport network switch.
Setup and Management
Use WPS push-button pairing when supported by the router, or configure the extender through its browser-based interface. No wireless client driver installation is required for the extender itself.
Performance Considerations
The 150 Mbps specification is a maximum wireless link rate, not guaranteed Internet throughput. Actual performance depends on signal quality, interference, connected devices and the existing network. Repeating traffic over the same wireless band also uses available airtime.

Compatible Products
Wireless repeater operation requires a compatible 2.4 GHz network supporting IEEE 802.11b/g/n and a security mode supported by the 525664. WPS is optional: a compatible network can also be configured manually through the browser interface.
- Manhattan 560689 8-Port Fast Ethernet Switch – Provides a compatible 10/100 Mbps Ethernet connection for the 525664 in Access Point mode. The switch must connect to an existing network, and the extender still requires its own wall-outlet power connection.
Important: The 525664 does not extend a 5 GHz-only network and has no documented WPA3 support. Do not assume compatibility with WPA3-only authentication or proprietary mesh systems. The switch connection listed above is wired Ethernet interoperability, not wireless pairing or PoE power compatibility.
