Ubiquiti U7-Mesh UniFi WiFi 7 Access Point
The Ubiquiti U7-Mesh is a compact indoor/outdoor WiFi 7 access point with an integrated long-range antenna system, (1) 2.5 GbE RJ45 uplink, and PoE power. It delivers 4 spatial streams, supports coverage up to 140 m² (1,500 ft²), and is rated for 200+ clients.
Ubiquiti positions the U7 Mesh for flexible deployments that need both local coverage and longer mesh reach. When installed with the outdoor mount, it carries an IPX6 weatherproofing rating and is managed through UniFi Network.
WiFi 7 Performance
Built on WiFi 7 across the 2.4 GHz and 5 GHz bands, the U7 Mesh uses 2 x 2 DL/UL MU-MIMO on each radio and supports data rates up to 4.3 Gbps on 5 GHz and 688 Mbps on 2.4 GHz. Ubiquiti also highlights lower latency, improved multi-client efficiency, and better airtime use for busy wireless environments.
Hybrid Antenna Design
The integrated antenna system combines omnidirectional coverage with a directional beam design. Ubiquiti describes this architecture as extending reach up to three times farther in mesh scenarios while still providing broad local-area coverage.
Centralized UniFi Management
The U7 Mesh supports UniFi’s centralized management approach with advanced analytics, RF Intelligence Engine, and multi-site visibility through Site Manager. Source-backed wireless management features include band steering, fast roaming, radio resource management, and wireless meshing.
