Ethernet Performance
The 092 Series supports Ethernet applications up to 1 Gbps. Actual link speed depends on the connected equipment and the complete cabling channel, including other cables, jacks and intermediate connections. The 350 MHz rating describes cable performance and is not a data-transfer speed.
Copper Construction and Connector Protection
Stranded bare copper conductors provide flexibility for patching applications. Each end has an 8P8C modular plug, commonly called RJ45, with a protective boot and tab protector for everyday cable handling.
Installation Considerations
Account for the full 100 ft cable length when planning the Ethernet channel. Long stranded patch cords require attention to channel-length allowances and insertion loss. This unshielded cable does not provide a shield continuity path.
