L-com HG5817P-090 5.8 GHz 17 dBi 90° Outdoor Sector Panel Antenna
The HG5817P-090 provides directional coverage across a 90° horizontal sector. It is intended for 5.8 GHz ISM and UNII applications within its specified frequency range. Adjustable mechanical downtilt helps installers aim the coverage area during deployment.
This is a passive antenna. Connection speed, usable range and network capacity depend on the connected radio, channel configuration, cable loss, interference, alignment and installation conditions.
RF Connectivity
The antenna provides one N-female RF connection. Select a 50-ohm cable assembly with an N-male connector at the antenna end, the correct connector at the radio end, and documented performance across the operating band. Account for cable attenuation when planning the link budget.
Outdoor Design and Mounting
A protective plastic radome supports outdoor use. The supplied tilt-and-swivel mounting kit accommodates a mast or pipe with a maximum outside diameter of 2 inches (50.8 mm). The documented operating temperature range is -40°C to +85°C.
Installation Requirements
Use a radio that supports external antennas and operation within 5.725–5.850 GHz. Confirm antenna-port requirements, polarization, permitted antenna gain and applicable transmit-power limits before installation. The antenna has no Ethernet interface and requires no PoE supply.

Compatible Products
The L-com HG5817P-090 requires external radio equipment operating within 5.725–5.850 GHz and a 50-ohm RF connection. The antenna uses one N-female connector and vertical polarization.
A suitable RF cable must have an N-male connector at the antenna end, match the radio's antenna connector, and provide documented frequency performance and acceptable attenuation across the selected operating channel.
Important: This is a single-feed, vertically polarized antenna. It does not provide the two independent antenna connections required by a dual-polarization 2x2 MIMO installation. Do not assume compatibility with a radio based only on a matching connector or a general “5 GHz” designation. Verify the radio's supported channels, external-antenna requirements, permitted gain and installation instructions.
Power clarification: The 100 W specification is the maximum RF input rating. It is not electrical power consumption, a PoE rating or authorization to transmit at that power.
