Ubiquiti UACC-Lock-Strike-Secure-8mm Fail-Secure Strike Lock
The Ubiquiti UACC-Lock-Strike-Secure-8mm is a fail-secure electric strike lock designed for 8 mm lock slot depth support in single wooden or metal door installations. It operates on 12V DC ±10% and provides up to 227 kg (500 lb) of holding force for controlled entry points.
This strike lock is built for door access deployments that need lock status monitoring and powered relay control. It includes a dry contact door status output, supports door frame recess mounting, and uses fail-secure operation that remains locked without power and unlocks when electricity is applied.
Fail-Secure Operation
According to Ubiquiti's UniFi Access lock guidance, this fail-secure strike lock stays locked during a power loss and unlocks only when power is applied. That makes it suitable for restricted areas where the door should remain secured if power is interrupted.
