TP-Link Deco X20 (1-Pack) AX1800 Dual-Band Wi-Fi 6 Mesh Router
The TP-Link Deco X20 (1-Pack) provides Wi-Fi 6 connectivity for a home network or adds another coverage point to an existing Deco mesh system. This package includes one Deco X20 unit, allowing you to start with a single router and expand with additional Deco units as needed.
Its AX1800 dual-band wireless specification supports maximum signal rates of 1201 Mbps on 5 GHz and 574 Mbps on 2.4 GHz. Two Gigabit Ethernet ports provide wired connections, while the Deco app guides setup and network management.

Wi-Fi 6 Performance
OFDMA and MU-MIMO help serve multiple compatible devices efficiently. Beamforming helps direct wireless signals toward connected clients. These technologies support household uses such as video streaming, video calls, online gaming and everyday browsing.
AX1800 describes the combined wireless speed class across both bands. It does not represent a guaranteed Internet speed or the speed available to a single device. Actual performance depends on the client device, placement, interference, Internet service and network conditions.
Expandable Deco Mesh
Add the X20 to compatible Deco units to create a network with one WiFi name. Additional units can connect through wireless backhaul or an Ethernet connection. Roaming behavior depends on client support and network conditions.
This is a one-unit package. A distributed mesh installation requires additional Deco units, sold separately.
Gigabit Connectivity and Operating Modes
Both RJ-45 ports support Gigabit Ethernet and automatically detect WAN or LAN use. Use Router mode for routing functions or Access Point mode to add wireless coverage behind an existing router.
Security and Management
Manage the network using the Deco app and configure wireless security for supported devices. Guest networks are available on both wireless bands.

Compatible Products
The Deco X20 can join other TP-Link Deco models in a Deco mesh network. Compatibility refers to Deco Mesh operation; each unit retains its own wireless bands, Ethernet speeds and hardware capabilities.
- Additional TP-Link Deco X20 (1-Pack) AX1800 Wi-Fi 6 Mesh Router – Add another X20 unit to extend an existing Deco network. Each unit requires its own power adapter.
Important: Deco Mesh cannot combine with TP-Link OneMesh, EasyMesh or Omada EAP Mesh into one unified mesh network. Those devices may coexist through a separately configured network, but they are not Deco mesh satellites. Use current, model-appropriate firmware and the Deco app when adding units.
