NetPoint NP2-Gen2 34 dBi Dual-Polarized Parabolic Antenna
The NetPoint NP2-Gen2 is a nominal 3-foot directional parabolic antenna for external-radio wireless installations. Its 4.9–6.4 GHz operating range and advertised 34 dBi gain make it suitable for engineered point-to-point backhaul and directional customer-premises links.
Designed for WISP operators and network installers, the NP2-Gen2 concentrates RF energy along a narrow path between locations. Dual polarization supports compatible dual-chain radios, while two N-female antenna connectors and included N-to-RP-SMA jumpers provide cabled RF connectivity.

Directional RF Performance
The narrow radiation pattern helps focus the link toward the intended remote site. Accurate alignment, clear line of sight and adequate Fresnel-zone clearance are important when planning a directional wireless installation.
The antenna operates from 4.9 to 6.4 GHz. Select a channel supported by both radios and permitted at the installation location. Frequency coverage does not extend across the entire 6 GHz band.
RF Connectivity
Two N-female connectors provide separate RF connections for the antenna's polarization paths. The supplied N-to-RP-SMA jumpers connect these ports to a compatible radio with RP-SMA-female antenna interfaces.
The antenna does not contain a wireless radio, Ethernet interface or PoE circuitry. Radio power, networking functions and wireless protocols depend on the separately selected radio.
Outdoor Installation
The NP2-Gen2 is designed for outdoor directional links. Match the mounting hardware to the mast and installation conditions, align the polarization at both ends, and weatherproof exposed RF connections.

Compatible Products
The NP2-Gen2 requires an external radio with compatible operating frequencies, polarization support and RF connections. Both RF chains must be connected correctly. The included jumpers provide N-male connections at the antenna and RP-SMA-male connections at the radio.
- Mimosa C5c EF Point-to-Point Backhaul and Point-to-Multipoint Client Radio — 100-00018-01 – Listed by NetPoint for the NPGEN2 series. The C5c supports dual-polarization antennas through two RP-SMA-female connectors and operates within 4.9–6.4 GHz, subject to operating mode and regional restrictions.
Important: Antenna compatibility does not establish compatibility between the radios at opposite ends of a link. Confirm radio protocol, operating mode, channel availability, polarization alignment and permitted transmit power before deployment. The C5c's extended PTMP operation above 6.2 GHz requires an appropriate A5/A5c access-point variant.
Power: PoE powers the external radio through its Ethernet connection; it does not connect to this antenna's RF ports. Select the power supply according to the radio's specifications.
