How to Order UI Care

Step 1: Place an Order with UI Care-Eligible Devices

UI Care must be purchased at the same time as your UniFi product—it cannot be added later. To ensure proper processing, only UI Care-eligible devices will have the option for UI Care. You can include non-eligible items in the same order, but they will not be covered by UI Care.

Step 2: Receive Your UI Care Extended Coverage Details

Once your order is processed, our Flytec Computers sales team will provide you with the UI Care Extended Coverage number and relevant device information. This ensures that your protection plan is properly linked to your purchased devices.

Step 3: Register Your Device and Activate UI Care

Once you receive your UI Care Extended Coverage information from our team, you must register your device’s MAC ID at rma.ui.com/ui-care to activate coverage. There, you can also review the terms and conditions of the program.

How to Activate UI Care

Once you’ve purchased UI Care along with your UniFi product, activation is straightforward:

Step 1: Keep Your Proof of Purchase

You’ll need your original receipt and the UI Care Extended Coverage details provided by Flytec Computers.

Step 2: Register Your Device

Visit rma.ui.com/ui-care and enter your device MAC ID and UI Care Extended Coverage number to activate the program.

Step 3: Enjoy Five Years of Peace of Mind

Your UI Care coverage begins once activated and remains valid for five years. If anything happens to your eligible device during this time, you're covered!

How to Claim a Replacement with UI Care

If your UniFi device fails due to a manufacturer’s defect, here’s how to get a replacement:

  1. Go tohttps://rma.ui.com
  2. Enter your device serial number and UI Care details
  3. Receive an RMA number and prepaid return label
  4. Your replacement device ships first! No waiting for your defective unit to be processed.
  5. Send back the defective device within 90 days (or UI Care is canceled).

Important: If the original product is discontinued, Ubiquiti will send a functionally equivalent replacement.

Which products are not covered?

UI Care does not cover:

  • Devices modified, altered, or physically changed (e.g., painted, rebranded).
  • Products damaged by natural disasters, power surges, or improper installation.
  • Devices used with third-party hardware, software, or firmware.
  • Products missing original Ubiquiti labels or installed outside of supported regions.
  • Items not installed, operated, or maintained according to Ubiquiti’s guidelines.
